AQTC was established in 1998 and is based in the Department of Experimental Physics, National University of Ireland, Galway, and is the successor of the Air Quality Laboratory in the same Department. The role of the centre is to provide expert service in the field of indoor and outdoor air quality for the purpose of increasing industrial production efficiency and complying with health, safety and environmental legislation.
